Make the outcome specific
What would you be doing differently? What would other people notice? What would you stop postponing? What would become possible if the old pattern was no longer making the decision?
The answers reveal whether the goal belongs to you or has been inherited from somebody else's expectations.
Notice the repeated obstacle
A plan matters, but so does the automatic response that appears when you begin. Perfectionism, fear of judgement and waiting to feel ready can all turn preparation into avoidance.
